Hey mom ! It was a good week here in Quincy ! It was really busy but we got a lot done ! We've been
doing a lot of service for people here and its been awesome ! We helped a guy in the ward build a
fence for his dogs and then he bought us some lunch. Then we had a bear come by our place
again on Tuesday morning ! We had trash all over our front yard because the bear took the college kid's
trash and just dragged it up the street and in our front yard, but its OK though. I've been learning a lot
of patience lately because the family of 4 we've been teaching sent us a text Tuesday evening saying
" sorry I can't commit to the Book of Mormon" and it was hard to hear that because we know how much
this gospel will bless there family and so we didn't see them for a couple days but then we dropped
by on Saturday and saw them again and they let us in and we visited for a bit and the husband is
really interested ! He's been reading and praying but the wife is a little hesitant but I know that
she will read it one day. We have the whole ward praying and fasting for them ! And then the
other night we were just walking around and we met this guy named Cody who's really cool
and we taught the restoration to him and he has a family of 5 so we're going to go back this
week and teach his family and invite them to church ! Friday we went to Reno for a zone
conference and it was good ! It was in my last area so I drove Elder Steck around and showed
him my last area and it was weird being there ! It all just felt like a dream going through there.
Then we were asked to prepare a talk a few weeks ago for zone conference and I didn't
prepare one because out of 50 missionaries only 4 had to speak and so I figured there's no
way I'd get called and sure enough I did and I had to wing it and it turned out pretty good !
The other day we were trying a potential family and this lady answered the door and
was like "what do you want" in a mad way but I could tell something was wrong and we just
said were here sharing a message about God's love for us and how He wants us to be happy
in this life and come to find out that she has a sister in Virgina who got murdered and so we
talked with her about 5 minutes and I could tell that she could feel the spirit when we were
talking to her because at first she wanted us to leave but then she didn't want us to go because
she could tell we brought a peaceful feeling in her life, so we're going back in about a week
to teach her the gospel ! It's crazy how things work out like that but I know that I'm making a
difference in peoples lives everyday.
Today we had a pancake breakfast with the boy scouts
and had a lot of fun and it's going to be hard when I leave this area because I love the people
here a lot and they all have made a big impact on my life. Anyways I hope you have a good
week and you and dad should plan a weekend and go to the temple together !

Also, my allergies are doing ok because the bishop is a doctor so he's hooked me up meds.
