Hey mom ! This week was pretty good it just rained some more and yesterday it finally got sunny
but now it's raining again today. This week we have just been working hard and teaching people as
much as we can ! We had an investigator with a baptismal date get really mad at us and tell us to
leave and so that kind of sucked but I think he was having a bad week so we're going to go try him
this next week and see how he's doing. We have a baptism this weekend and I'm super pumped
for it ! On Friday I went out to Susanville for an exchange and had a really good time and
almost got attacked by a huge pit bull ! So I was walking down the street and I gave this Indian
guy a book of Mormon and I asked if he knew anyone that could use a visit and he pointed to the
house across the street and so we went over to it and there's a big gate out front and we went
through it. I knew there was going to be a big dog in there and sure enough, a big ol pit bull
came flying around the corner and started going for my ankles and so I was up against the fence
and went to kick it, then jumped the fence and it just about got my ankle!! Haha it was a good
adrenaline rush and then I walked down the street some more and there was a guy having a yard
sale. He was selling his Foosball table and I asked him if he wanted to play a game or two and
we did. I beat him of course and then I started talking about the book of Mormon and stuff
but come to find out he's a JW and we said OK and left, but it was a good time on the exchange.
We went around Lake Alminore and it had a way pretty sunset ! I love this area so much because
there's good views of trees and lakes instead of sage brush and desert. The ward
is super good and I still bless the sacrament every Sunday and play the piano so it's good ! This
week we don't have too much planned. We're just going to work hard and focus on the baptism and
pray that it gets sunny ! Anyways, have a good week and I can't wait to skype you in three weeks !
love you mom
