Hey mom ! California is the best !!! My comp is so cool ! He's from St. George and my apartment
is awesome. I'm living in the mountains and I'm having such a good time out here ! There's a lot
of work out here and we have someone set with a baptismal date. The roads were closed on
Tuesday so I went and stayed in Washoe valley near Carson City for the night and the day and
then Wednesday the roads opened and my comp came and got me and we drove to California !
Then we just visited a bunch of members and then on Saturday we went back to Reno and got
to visit with Elder Christopherson with the entire mission ! It was cool to see an apostle and
everybody I came out with from the MTC. My ward has like 40 people in it ! Yesterday I
blessed the sacrament and I probably will for the next 6 months here ! Other than that my
comp is really awesome and he likes hunting and fishing and the people up here like hunting
and fishing as well, so me and the people get along real well ! The drive here we go over a
mountain pass and there's about 6 ft of snow and then we drop down into a valley and there's
not a lot of snow. There's also a college out here that we cover called Feather River and we
have a few people lined up to set with a baptismal date ! Today after emailing we're going to
go chop down trees and split wood. I'll definitely miss the people back in Reno but I'm so glad
to be out here in Quincy ! Anyways, I'll send some pictures and you should send me some too!
