Happy Birthday mom ! It sounds like you had a good birthday ! I can't believe Grandpa is
turning 80. Tell him that I will make that goal happen this summer to get him up on skis !
My week in Yerington was really good.
My companion is awesome. Last Monday we went on a hike called Wilson canyon and it
was really fun! It's about a 3 mile hike it's got a river and some drainages and petrified wood
and stuff and we were there for a couple hours. Tuesday we ended up going to Fernly for
meetings then to the Indian rez named Shurz and taught one of our investigators named
Elki and he's getting baptized on the 14th of April. It's a lot of fun teaching kids we were
teaching him and his two brothers. The next couple of days we were on exchanges and
that was fun I was with a missionary who I met back in Elko and it was cool to see how much
he has changed just in a couple months. Sunday we had our investigators come to church
and they enjoyed it. So that was most of the week but something I've been studying a lot
lately is the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He went through so much for us and had so much
love for us, and still loves us. Even though we fall short and make mistakes He will always be
there to help us. I've experienced it plenty of times on the mission but He has been there
to pick me up and put me back on my feet. I'm grateful for all that you do mom and I hope
you have a good week ! love you mom !
